Awards and Honors

In the club's first year of existence it earned Honor Club status and finished the year as the number two club in the state out of over one hundred clubs. The following two years (1971-1972 and 1972-1973), it was the top club in the state and also an Honor Club.

The Optimist year of 1976-1977 proved to be a successful one. The Niles Club found itself again at the top: The Number One Club in the state of Michigan, an Honor Club, and a Century Club (100 members) for the first time.

The 1981-1982 year saw the Niles Club again ranked as the number one club in the Michigan District.
