There never seems to be enough referees to handle all the games in the Optimist Soccer League. There is a space on the player application form to indicate you would be interested in becoming a referee. We especially encourage former Optimist Soccer players and high school varsity soccer players to referee. The League furnishes your uniform and equipment and provides a little monetary compensation for your time and travel expenses.
